Saxon Day

Year 4 turn History Detectives during their Saxon Day!

The children enjoyed a ‘hands-on’ day learning about life in Saxon Britain.  In the afternoon they took part in an archaeological dig where they had to identify Saxon and Roman artefacts using evidence cards.
