All our Year 6 classes visited the War Memorial to lay a wreath and pay their respects as part of Remembrance and our History and Geography work. Lots of our children also took part in the parade on Sunday with their local groups such as the Scouts and Brownies.
Year 4 enjoyed their day at the Ashmolean Museum learning all about Ancient Egyptians as history detectives!
Year 4 have been learning how to make pastry as part of their DT project...the best part was the tasting!
The children took part in a range of different activities and sports all inspired by the Olympics and Paralympic Games. We think all our children are medal winners and wish everyone a happy summer break.
Year 5 had an immersive history day at Ufton Court, learning all about the Viking raids!
Our families had a fantastic time at our first ever HSA Colour Run!
We were all inspired by the 'Stitch Head' author's visit to our school and loved having our books signed!
All our Year 5 classes have been enjoying their sessions at Forest Schools this term.
We held our first dress rehearsal and everyone agreed it was a 10/10 performance!
As part of our work on respecting difference and Anti-Bullying Week, lots of children came to school in their odd socks.
Our Year 6s have been learning about life in the 1940s, including how some children were evacuated to the countryside.
